Student expectations


Exodus 18:20 "Teach them His decrees and instruction, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave"
A Parent/Student Agreement form is signed by parents and students at the beginning of each academic year. It includes the following expectations and more. See the Administrative Forms page for more information.

Students are expected to:
  • Arrive on-time to class
  • Actively participate in class
  • Be properly prepared for class
  • Complete assignments on schedule

Students may lose course points for:
  • Being late to class
  • Not participating in class
  • Being unprepared for class

In addition BTM students are to portray love for God and others by:
  • Not taking God's name in vain or using other curse words
  • Not bringing weapons of any kind to BTM
  • Respecting others personal space, no inappropriate physical contact is allowed
  • Using encouraging words and protecting others from verbal or physical bullying
  • Treating the equipment, building and property with respect
  • Dressing modestly and appropriately

Late policy:
  • Work is due on the day it is assigned by the tutor.
  • If a student is carrying an “F” grade for at least 2 quarters in a class, they will be withdrawn from that class but not the tutorial as a whole.
